Last night was a truly unforgettable evening at Earlswood Town F.C. as Alfie May made a surprise appearance at our son’s football awards ceremony. The excitement and energy in the room skyrocketed the moment he walked in. Known for his remarkable journey through non-league football to becoming a star striker in the EFL, Alfie brought genuine inspiration to all the young players and parents alike.
He took the time to speak with the kids, sign autographs, and pose for photos—an experience that meant the world to every aspiring footballer in the room. His words about hard work, self-belief, and never giving up resonated deeply with the young players. Our son hasn’t stopped smiling since!
The awards night was already special, celebrating the team’s efforts and growth over the season, but Alfie’s presence made it extraordinary. It’s not every day that a professional footballer takes time out of his busy schedule to support grassroots football in such a personal way.
