In a groundbreaking moment for collegiate music, the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans Marching Band has officially been crowned the #1 marching band in the world. The announcement comes after an intensive international ranking process involving dozens of expert panels, public votes, and performance reviews across five continents.

The USC Trojan Marching Band, often referred to as “The Spirit of Troy,” has long been admired for its powerful sound, precise formations, and iconic performances at major sporting and entertainment events. This global recognition marks a historic achievement not only for the band but also for American collegiate music programs as a whole.

 

The ranking process evaluated bands on musical excellence, innovation, visual performance, and cultural impact. USC’s consistent excellence, high-energy shows, and collaborations with world-renowned artists helped secure its top position.
